Hello my dear students. I would like to welcome you all to this new
experience, first by letting you know that you can always count on me
for whatever you need through-out this process. I am sure we will have a
lot of fun and learn many interesting things.
Methodology:
As you already know we will be developing our classes online. For
which we will be using the platforms Teams and Ferrum.
I will schedule meetings every week through the platform Teams.
I will upload all the information regarding the classes on Ferrum.
We will develop our classes in 10 weeks. Each week we will work
on a different communicative subject.
Every three weeks I will share with you on Ferrum a self-study
guide, such as this one, with different activities for you to work on
autonomously. The guide is divided in 4 stages.
Stage 1: Warm-up.
Stage 2: Topic presentation.
Stage 3: Practice. INTERACT
App Stage 4: Project.
We will cover each aspect of the guide each week on our meeting on Teams.
Communicative objectives:
Talk about regrets
Describe your country
Discuss what you are happy about in your life and what you would
like to be different
Talk about what makes you stress and how you relax
Talk about an important decision you made
Tell people about something you do in your spare time

Project

Project Choose a topic the one you like most, organize the information and make a video presenting the topic chosen. Then, upload the video on the youtube.com. Finally, paste the link video on FERRUM, UNIT 2 section FORUM 3. Criteria

  • Students must explain in the video with the topic they choose.
  • The information planning for the topic presentation is up to the

students.

  • The video must last at least 1 minute and no more than 3

minutes.

  • The presentation must contain the grammar, vocabulary and

expressions studied at class.

  • This time, the topic must not be chosen in the self-study

guide, it must be chosen by your own.

  • This activity can be done in groups (3 or 2 students)
  • The project must be delivered on time.
