Course Policies

1. Choose a good workspace or location. There will be sessions wherein we need to move. Find a space that is free from any distractions and

obstructions. Be aware of what others will see in the background.

2. Take your attendance. You will need to take your attendance by answering an MS Form before the start of the session. This is not included in your

midterm and final grade and will only serve as the professor’s record to know who are able and not able to attend synchronous sessions. No attendance would mean you will need to do the alternate activity.

3. Be online before the start of the class session. It is better to start the class on time. So, you should log in 10 minutes prior to the session.

4. Mute yourself. Please mute your microphone before you join the session for better sound quality and for avoiding unnecessary distractions. Only turn

it on when you are asked or given permission to speak.

5. Video on. Keep your video on when playing the games, so that the class can see you and engage with you.

6. Be presentable and be professional. Learning from the comfort of your home can make it feel desirable to dress down, but we want to make sure

Do not use profanity or inappropriate language, emoticons, and/or text message language.

7. Participate. Actively engage in the sessions and the content being discussed

8. Focused attention. You might miss out on important points during the session, so give your full, undivided attention.

9. Do ask questions. If you have ideas and/or thoughts you would like to clarify or ask, do not hesitate to ask.
