How to connect the Kinetix 3 to the Micro830? Recommend using either the 2090 CCMDSDS 48AA01 (Kinetix 3 control interface for drive to drive configurations) or the 2090 CCMCNDS 48AAxx (Kinetix 3 control interface to MicroLogix controller (keeping the firewire connector)), and cutting it to expose the wires.
The wires inside should be Red, Brown, and Black. Use the following wiring diagram to land the wires on the proper terminals of the 2090 SERIALISOL module. Alternatively, a customer could build their own connector on the drive side using this diagram. The 2090 CCMPCDS 23AAxx will not work with this wiring schematic since it does not support RS 485 communications or Modbus RTU.
