General Directions
Thi s test consists of two section s: (1) a m ultiple-choice question section and (2) a
constructed-respons e assi gnm ent sect ion. Each quest ion i n the first sec tion is a
multiple-choi ce questi on w ith four answer choices. Read each question and answer
choi ce c arefu lly and choose the ONE best answer.
Try to answ er al l qu esti ons. In general , if you have som e knowled ge about a question, it
is better to try to answer it. You will not be penalized f or gu essing.
The second sec tion contains on e constructed-response assignment. Directions for the
constructed-response assignment section appear immediately before the assignment.
You m ay work on the multi ple-choice questions and the constructed-resp onse
assignment in any order that you choose. Be sure to allocat e your tim e carefully so you
are able to com plet e the entire test within the testing sessi on. You may go bac k and
revi ew your answers at an y tim e during the testing session.
